The Sewing Workshop

My workshop is located in Fields Corner, an historical neighborhood in Dorchester, MA. It houses a library of vintage and contemporary resources for design inspiration, as well as a constantly growing and changing collection of materials, including:

• Fabric from the 1930's to the present
• Buttons, Buckles, and Other Closures
• Ribbons, Trims, Laces, and Appliques
• Sequins, Beads, and Embroidery Supplies
• Vintage Garments

I use recycled, renewable, and responsible materials whenever possible. I often source new materials locally and from small businesses. When creating your garment, we will evaluate all possible material sources and choose the one that best suits the project at hand.

The workshop is easily accessible via the Fields Corner Station on the Ashmont bound Red Line. It can also be reached by the 15, 17, 18, and 19 MBTA buses. For those traveling by car, there is free 2hr parking close by.
